Why Numero exists
Important financial details should not depend on memory.
Your bank texts you every payment and you swipe it away. Receipts land in email. Renewal notices arrive once and are easy to miss. By the end of the month, nobody can say where the money went, what they bought, or whether a promised refund arrived.
Numero keeps track of all of it for you. The aim is simple: know where your money went, stay on budget, and notice a useful detail before it becomes an expensive problem.

Facts come first
Rules handle facts when the source is clear. AI can help explain or connect those facts, but it cannot quietly rewrite them.

We do not fill gaps with guesses
If a detail is missing or two sources disagree, Numero says so. An empty field is better than a confident but wrong answer.

Useful, not noisy
You should not have to check another endless feed. Numero points out the changes that may need your attention, and stays quiet otherwise.

Your data stays under your control
Inbox access is read-only and can be revoked. Numero does not sell user data, and you do not have to pay to disconnect a source, export your data, or delete your account.

It reads, it never writes
Bank SMS are read on your phone and personal chats are skipped. Email access is read-only: Numero cannot send, delete, label, or edit your mail.
It keeps details, not your mail
Numero does not keep SMS text, original email bodies, subject lines, attachments, PDFs, or images. It never sells user data.
An outside security review
Numero is Google certified for Gmail access. Google approved its read-only Gmail access after Numero passed the required CASA AL1 security assessment in 2026.

What is Numero?

Does Numero need access to my bank account?
No. Numero works from the transaction SMS your bank already sends you, the inbox you choose to connect, and anything you add by hand. It never asks for a bank or card login.
What data does Numero keep?
Numero keeps details such as the merchant, amount, currency, date, category and the last four digits of a card or account. It does not keep SMS text, OTPs, personal chats, email bodies, subject lines or attachments.
Is Numero a budgeting or accounting app?
Numero includes optional monthly and category budgets with alerts, built on the spending it tracks automatically. It is not a complete bank-synced ledger, accounting or tax tool, or a source of regulated financial or investment advice.
