Receipt Scanner
Your inbox does most of the work. Scan the rest.
Numero finds emailed receipts in Gmail and Outlook automatically. For the paper ones, photograph or upload the receipt in the app and review it before it's saved.
Read-only Gmail access. No bank credentials. Cancel anytime.
Updated
Most purchases already leave an email behind — an order confirmation, an e-receipt, an invoice. Numero reads those from an authorized Gmail or Outlook inbox automatically, so there is nothing to scan for them.
Some purchases never reach an inbox: a printed till receipt, a contractor's paper invoice, a PDF someone handed you. For those, the Numero mobile app can read a photo or upload and draft the merchant, amount, date, and currency for you to confirm.
Nothing is added on the AI's word alone. You review every extracted field — low-confidence fields are flagged as suggestions — and the activity is only saved when you confirm it.
How it works
Three steps, then Numero does the rest.
STEP 01
Connect your inbox first
Authorize Gmail or Outlook read-only. Emailed receipts, invoices, and bills are recognized automatically — no scanning needed.
STEP 02
Photograph or upload what's left
In the Numero app, scan a paper receipt with your camera or upload a photo or PDF. Numero drafts the merchant, amount, date, and currency.
STEP 03
Review, then save
Check and edit the draft. Once confirmed, it joins the same Financial Memory as your email activity — searchable and categorized alongside it.
What Numero catches
Every moment worth knowing.
Numero surfaces only what deserves your attention right now, with a reason attached.
Subscription renewed
A recurring charge just went through — with the exact amount and what changed since the last cycle.
Refund still pending
A return was accepted but the refund has not landed within the merchant's stated window.
Duplicate charge
The same merchant appears to have charged twice for one purchase.
Unexpected charge
A charge appeared from a merchant with no recent activity from you.
Price quietly went up
A recurring charge increased more than usual — surfaced before it becomes the new normal.
Return window closing
A recent purchase's return window closes soon — with the deadline computed from the merchant policy.

Numero uses Google's read-only Gmail scope. Email bodies and attachments are processed ephemerally and never stored. You control export and deletion.

Frequently asked
Answers before you sign up.
No. Receipts, invoices, and bills that reach a connected Gmail or Outlook inbox are recognized automatically. Scanning is for purchases that never produced an email.
No. The image is processed to draft the details and then discarded. Numero keeps the structured facts you confirm — merchant, amount, date, currency, category — not the photo or the text read from it.
No. Extraction only produces a draft. Numero never creates an activity from AI extraction on its own; you confirm or edit the details first.
A camera photo, an image such as JPEG, PNG, HEIC, or WebP, or a PDF of a receipt or invoice. If a document is unreadable or shows more than one possible total, Numero asks you to retake it or enter the details manually rather than guessing.
Receipt upload and scan are included in Numero Pro and Premium, available in the iOS and Android apps. Inbox tracking and manual entry are available on the free plan.
